- - -- - - Festgesandte den- - - ihren Aufenthalt gestalteten in guter unddem Volk der Ephesier würdiger Weise, wolle beschließen der Rat: dass dieerlosten Vorsitzenden für die kommende Volksversammlung hierüber verhandelnlassen und die Beschlussvorlage des Rates in die Volksversammlung einbringen, wonach derRat es für gut befindet, dass man belobige das Volk der Ephesier und bekränzemit goldenem Kranz gemäß dem Gesetz wegen seines Wohlwolles gegenüber dem Volk der Athe-ner und dem König Ptolemaios und verkündige diesen Kranzan den Dionysien in der Stadt bei der Tragödien-Uraufführung; dass für die Anfertigungdes Kranzes und die Verkündigung Sorge tragen die Generäleund der Schatzmeister der Militärkasse; dass man belobige auch die entsandtenGesandten Apollophanes S.d. - - -, Iason S.d. - - -, undund einen jeden von ihnen mit einem Myrthen-Kranz bekränze; - - -- - -; dass man sie einschreibe in Phyle und Demos und Phratrie, die siewollen; dass man sie auch zum Bankett in das Prytaneion ladefür morgen; – Damit nun auch das Volk in öffentlicher Weise stets eingedenk derin früheren Zeiten ihm zuteil gewordenen Wohltaten sei und einem jedenangemessenen Dank abstattet, soll auch den Ephesiern das Bürgerrecht seitensdes Volkes sein und ihnen nach Prüfung erlaubt sein, eingeschrieben zu werden in Phyle und Demos undPhratrie, die ein jeder von ihnen sich wählt; dass diesen Beschlussder Sekretär, der während der Prytanie amtiert, aufzeichne auf eine steinerne Stele und aufstellevor dem Eleusinion; dass für die Aufzeichnung und die Aufstellung der Steleder Schatzmeister der Militärkasse die entstandenen Kosten begleiche.Kranz
